On the official page for the anime adaptation of the manga Hajime isayama, Shingeki no kyojin (attack on Titan), a new promotional video for the second anime part was released Shingeki no Kyojin: The final season. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for January 9, 2022 in Japan via the NHK General Channel.
The press release contained a comment from the author Hajime isayama, Who wrote: "I am very happy that the second part of last season is finally on. Even in the original it was a really difficult drawing process, and I am very sorry that MAPPA struggles again with many scenes that we found difficult even with assistants, but I'm sorry, these are the scenes that inspire me the most. Hope the people who see the animation for the first time will enjoy it.».
The first part of this final season premiered in December 2020 and comprised a total of sixteen episodes while platforms Crispy roll and Funimation they took care of the distribution in the west, the latter added a Spanish dubbing. The first season premiered in April 2013, followed by a second in April 2017 and a two-part third in July 2018 and April 2019.

Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season - Synopsis
Gabi Braun and Falco Grice have trained their entire lives to inherit one of the seven titans under Marley's control and help their nation exterminate the Eldians on Paradis. But just as everything seems to be all right for the two cadets, their peace is suddenly shaken by the arrival of Eren Yeager and the remaining members of the Scout Corps.
After finally reaching the Yeager family basement and learning about the dark story surrounding the Titans, the Scout Corps finally found the answer it was fighting so desperately for. With the truth in their hands, the group set out for the world beyond the walls.
