Unlike previously announced in Pocket Magazine, published by Kodansha, the anime series by Shikimori isn’t just a cutie it won’t arrive until 2021. The news came from the series’ official website, where the first details of the production were revealed and an exact launch window was defined.
According to reports, the beautiful adventure of Shikimori and Izumi arrives in Japan in April 2022, and will at least initially only be broadcast on TV channels, with the exception of the simultaneous debut on the various streaming platforms. In addition, the voice actors of the two protagonists were officially introduced, or Saori Onishi for Shikimori and Shuichiro Umeda for Izumi.
Ryota Itoh will direct the series, for the Doga Kobo studio, together with Shohei Yamanaka as assistant director and Yoshimi Narita, who was entrusted with the script.
