During a special broadcast corresponding to the event Fantasy Bunko Online Festival 2022a new promotional video for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by was unveiled Myojin Katou and illustrated by Hayasakura Mizuno, Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou, Murabito A ni Tensei suru (The greatest demon lord is reborn as a typical nobody). In this preview you can hear what the final theme will be, reincarnationperformed by the singer choucho. It was also announced that the series will premiere on April 6th on TV in Japan.

Katou started publishing the light novels via the imprint Fantasy Bunko from the publisher Fujimishobo in May 2018, with the seventh volume released in November 2020, followed by the eighth volume on April 20 in Japan. A manga adaptation of Misuho Kotoba will be published via the magazine Monthly big gangan from the publisher Square Enix since February 2019.
