On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels Arifureta Shokugyou by Sekai Saikyou (Arifureta: From the commonplace to the strongest in the world) an eight-minute trailer for the franchise's next OVA has been released. This trailer will only be available for 48 hours after it was posted to YouTube, but several still images were also revealed to accompany the press release.
This OVA is entitled "Maboroshi no Bouken to Kiseki no Kaikou (Phantom adventures and wondrous encounters)" J The launch is scheduled for next September 25th in Japan. The title coincides with one of the short stories from the original light novels, while this OVA is included as a benefit of the special edition of the thirteenth volume of the light novels, which as mentioned will be released on September 25th. in Japan.

This second season premiered during the season of Winter 2022 (January-March) and had a total of twelve episodes (plus an OVA on the first Blu-ray), while the Funimation platform is responsible for western distribution. Summary for Arifureta Shokugyou by Sekai Saikyou
High school student Hajime Nagumo is bullied by his classmates for dating school idol Kaori. As he and the rest of the class are transported to a fantasy world, all of his classmates gain powerful magical abilities while Hajime gains only basic alchemy magic to transform solid materials, which is common practice with blacksmiths. During a dungeon raid, he is betrayed by one of his teammates and thrown to the bottom of the dungeon. Hajime survives the fall and begins crafting weapons to escape the dungeon and become stronger. On his way he meets the vampire Yue and is later joined by the rabbit-eared girl Shea, the perverted dragon Tio and others.
