During the event AnimeJapan 2023 A new promotional video for the film has been unveiled Seishun Buta Yarou wa Dekake Shisuta no Yume wo Minai (Rascal doesn’t dream of a sister who ventures out), which adapts the eighth and ninth volumes of the light novels written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keji Mizoguchi, Seishun Buta Yarou series (Rascal doesn’t dream).
The press release confirms that this film will feature the character Kaede Asusagawahas his Slated to premiere in theaters in Japan on June 23. There is no news yet if this film will reach Latin America from any distributors.
On the other hand, it is worth remembering that the second film, entitled as Seishun Buta Yarou wa Randoseru Garu no Yume wo Minai (Rascal doesn’t dream of a backpack girl) and focused on the character of Mai Sakurajimahas no scheduled release date yet.
Kamoshida and Mizoguchi began publishing the light novels through the imprint Dengeki Bunko from the publisher Kadokawa in April 2014. The work inspired a thirteen-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios CloverWorksLed by souichi masui and scripts written by Masahiro Yokotani, released October 2018; followed by a film in June 2019.

Summary of Seishun Buta Yarou wa Dekake Shisuta no Yume wo Minai
After a grueling month of December, Sakuta is fast approaching the end of his sophomore year in high school. Since Mai is in third grade, they don’t have much time together before graduation. Meanwhile, her sister Kaede is slowly but surely venturing back into the great outdoors. Just as she begins to find her footing, she announces her most ambitious goal yet: attend her brother’s high school! Sakuta knows better than anyone how difficult this will be for Kaede, and he is willing to support her in any way he can. But he’s not sure if that’s for the best for her…or what he really wants…
