After almost a month of hiatus, Pokémon Exploration is finally back, and episode number fifty ended a few moments ago. As expected from numerous rumors, the episode in question revealed that Ash, Go and Chloe were engaged to Galar and The first two each got a new Pokémon by joining two fossils.
The episode begins with the three boys traveling aboard an airplane immediately after the events of episode 49. So Ash and Go return to the wilds of Galar and, accompanied by Chloe, visit a site with several archaeologists who are involved in excavations, temporarily joining the team. During the episode, the two decide to combine two fossilsand they each get a new creature.
Go catches an arctozolt Ash received a Dracovish, his first Pokémon from Galar, and the first fossil Pokémon ever. Dracovish is a hybrid creature, the head is that of a giant prehistoric fish while the body appears to be that of a dragon. A water / dragon-type creature can be useful to the trainer, especially considering that champion Leon’s most powerful Pokémon is a wizard.
Ash’s team currently consists of seven Pokémon: Pikachu, Mr. Mime, Dragonite, Gengar, Lucario, Farfetch’d and Dracovish. Most likely they are the strongest team the young manager has ever had.
