The isekai genre is one of the most popular in Japan right now and there are so many themed series out every year. But there are only a few titles that have any degree of success, such as Overlord, the anime adaptation of the light novel of the same name, which will soon see a fourth television season.
A few months ago Madhouse Studio, the company responsible for the anime adaptation, had announced a new season of Overlord plus a film. However, the team hasn’t released any information about it since May, at least until today when staff returned to speak about the project.
Through a Teaser trailer and an official key visual, which you can find at the top of the page and at the bottom of the news, the team has confirmed the start of production for season four, which, barring any unforeseen events, will be theirs Debut later in 2022. In addition, the new episodes must cover the events of the Holy Kingdom narrative arc.
So all we have to do is wait the next few months and weeks for any future information on the case, such as the release date and total episode count, but we’ll keep you updated until more news comes. And you, on the other hand, are interested in Overlord 4? Let us know with a comment below.
