Today one of the characters whose role in the next story arc is fundamental ONE PIECE is Shanks the Red, one of the 4 Emperors. Various information about the famous pirate has surfaced recently, some of it by the same author in the related magazine.
The 15th issue of ONE PIECE magazine is indeed marked by some news and background around the character shafts and his team. The relationship between the latter and the captain is so important that in the magazine devoted to his masterpiece Eiichiro Oda wanted to express his opinion on the leader of the Pirates of the Red as follows:
“Shanks isn’t a perfect guy. The most important scene in Chapter 1 is where Shanks is shocked when Luffy is kidnapped. Anyone can draw a cool, handsome character, but Beckman smiles and supports him. Thanks to their relationship Pirates of the Red can exist.“
So basically the sensei is specifying this without the support of his companions, especially that of Beckman, not even the emperor would have been like that.
