ONE PIECE is one of the most famous manga and anime in the world. We have therefore seen the face of Luffy everywhere, thanks to the creation of commercial partnerships of all kinds that result from simple adjustments in the various media. And now the brand is preparing to start a new collaboration with a well-known western personality.
The weekly Shonen Jump issue 33 revealed that one had been sanctioned Collaboration between ONE PIECE and Dov’è Wallyto celebrate the 24th anniversary of Eiichiro Oda’s pirate manga. Known as “Where’s Waldo!” in the United States of America and Canada, the character is the protagonist of some illustrations in which it is necessary to find him in the midst of a different crowd and in different environments.
For the occasion Eiichiro Oda will be a full-color double-page spread in the style of Where is Wally. to prepare, but is based on Onigashima and therefore on all pirates and samurai who take part in the battle. The announcement also came on Twitter with the picture you can see below with Luffy and Wally drawn in the same style. Do you think that given the uniqueness of ONE PIECE’s characters, it will be easy to find Luffy and his companions in the crowd?
Meanwhile, fans have been working with a crossover between ONE PIECE and Jojo in an illustration, while another fan has decided to check out the cowboy bebop-style opening of the anime.
