The arrival of CP0 in Egghead certainly did not think of us as good news for the protagonists of ONE PIECE. The secret agency of the world government has a very specific task of killing Vegapunk and everything related to his research in order to be able to hide any discoveries made or any about the ancient kingdom.
And so Rob Lucci, Stussy and Kaku jumped into action to destroy the scientist’s lab. Obviously things didn’t go as expected: the presence of the Straw Hat Pirates made the mission almost impossible, and the clash between Luffy and Lucci ended in favor of the first, who established himself with overflowing power. However ONE PIECE He also made room for the other components, most notably Kaku, who has found his old enemy again.
Just as there was the revival of the fight between Lucci and Luffy, the same happened for Kaku and Zoro. Of course both have gotten stronger, actually Kaku achieved the awakening of his own Devil Fruit. In this version, his hybrid form becomes even more powerful, and by managing not to yield to his pet’s will, he can modify his body to make it even more suited to his fighting style.
Unfortunately, however, it didn’t help because of Stussy’s intervention. Zoro was already able to hold his own against him with no problems, but the intrusion of Vegapunk’s secret ally has completely silenced Kaku’s will to fight. Who knows if its fruit will return to the spotlight in future chapters of ONE PIECE.
