In ONE PIECE Luffy defeated many enemies. On this journey, which lasted practically 25 years, many islands were visited, and therefore each opponent was defeated in a unique place. Since Eiichiro Oda also loves to create always different and exotic locations, each battle has many pitfalls and beauties that are never recreated.
THAT Locations of Luffy’s fights but they seem to have another special meaning. Some fans of ONE PIECE have identified some, let’s find out which ones.
- In the second encounter with Crocodile, the fight takes place underground. Particularly suitable for the leader of a criminal organization, i.e. an undercover organization, and who, among other things, wants to bring a buried secret back to light.
- Against Enel, on the other hand, you have to shoot down the god of lightning on a battlefield in the sky, between the clouds.
- in the enies lobby, Luffy confronts Rob Lucci right outside the doors of justiceunderlining that the pirate protagonist has his own sense of justice, but is only “outside the door” where true justice resides.
- The fish-men have already been beaten ashore. However, they had an advantage in their homeland, but Luffy also beat Hody Jones in the sea, making it clear that the protagonist is the conqueror of land and water.
- In Dressrosa, Doflamingo has always held the whole country hostage. His physical representation is a birdcage, the same one the former Shichibukai summons to end the battle and in which Luffy will defeat his enemy.
- The fight with Katakuri over Luffy was fundamental. Before him he had an opponent who knew everything he could but better. one Clash of symmetrical attacks and reflections in the world of mirrors.
- Finally, Luffy VS Kaido takes place at the Onigashima Dome. Wano has long been the strongest pirate base and thus the pinnacle of piracy. Onigashima is currently his highest point and if Luffy wins, will become the apex pirate.
