The Wano saga is truly uncredited, with only a handful of chapters separating the reader from the end of the narrative arc ONE PIECE. The final battle between Luffy’s frontline and Kaido’s frontline seems to be nearing completion, but the last chapter provided some interesting food for thought.
In a past flashback Kaido revealed that the one who would defeat him would be JoyBoy, a mysterious person he himself has often been associated with Luffy. Thanks to his Fifth Gear, the Mugiwara’s captain managed to resist the Emperor and fight as equals to deal them a fatal blow in Chapter 1049 that apparently left him completely incapacitated.
If so, Kaido would have been defeated, a hypothesis just reinforced by the narrative setting of ONE PIECE’s final chapter. Anyway, among the spoilers, one fan noticed an interesting detail about the Emperor. In fact, at the table where Kaido is hit, an object detaches from his head. In the immediately following sequence we notice, by sharpening our gaze, that the The Emperor’s left horn has been severed cleanlya sign that Luffy has managed to inflict heavy damage on his opponent.
And you, on the other hand, did you notice that little detail? Let us know with a comment below.
