The Wano crisis is nearing an end. The island of Onigashima, fleeing the power of Kaido, retreats with the efforts of Momonosuke, who however has doubts about what to do in the future. In the meantime, however, the ball goes to Luffy and Kaido, who are facing each other on the dome. However, an unexpected event has changed the course of this battle in ONE PIECE.
After receiving the World Government’s order, the head of CP0 went on Onigashima’s skullcap and interrupted Luffy’s attack, surprising him and forcing him to fully peck Kaido’s powerful attack. However, even the Emperor was shocked by the intervention and recalled a past event of ONE PIECE when it was Oden who was distracted during the clash. And now?
Kaido must make his move in ONE PIECE 1043. No doubt the challenge amused him in a way that hadn’t been seen in a long time, and as he’s still in his phase of murderous frenzy, the head of the KP0 might even become the Emperor’s new adversary for a while. The conditions for the secret agent’s survival do not appear to be in place, but this brief quarrel between the two may give Luffy time to recover and launch one final attack to continue the main battle.
