Weekly Shonen Jump’s winter breaks have changed the release date of many manga. Like every year, the magazine goes into a certain period of time with a two-week break that makes it temporary fewer releases of famous manga like ONE PIECE and many others. However, this period is drawing to a close.
In fact, the magazine will return to a more regular frequency starting January 17th. Wait another ten days and fans can read ONE PIECE 1037, a chapter that will be the focus for Wano’s climax. The saga is drawing to a close, but for those who can’t wait, the first spoiler from ONE PIECE 1037.
For now, there isn’t much that is specific: the information revealed is all about the title of the chapter. ONE PIECE 1037 is entitled “Shuron Hakke” and for those who can speak Japanese, Eiichiro Oda’s intention is clear. In fact, Kaido has used the Raimei Hakke in the past, an attack that has repeatedly brought down his enemies.
While Raimei Hakke means “Thundering Bagua”, Shuron Hakke means “Dragon Sake Bagua” and is likely a new attack, possibly an improved version of Raimei Hakke, but used in hybrid form. With that information aside, it was revealed, to the displeasure of fans, that ONE PIECE is taking a break for the next week. ONE PIECE 1038 will therefore not arrive until January 30, 2022.
