Yesterday, an insider opened up the possibility Nier Automata, the game that received exceptional acclaim for its PS4 debut, could get an animated adaptation. In less than 24 hours, the rumors have gathered and several insiders have reported the same news: The anime is being made.
A Nier Automata anime is a highly suggestive project given the great plot behind the jewel of Yoko Taro. By the end of the year, the director had joked about the end of the Nier franchise, but it seems his brand is destined to endure on multiple fronts, even on television.
However, more sources reported than one Automata’s animated transposition is already in production, although none of them have given any indication of the animation studio responsible for the project or the staff. Presumably the voice actors of the video game counterpart will also be confirmed on this medium, but we await the official confirmation that should arrive very soon, perhaps with a first presentation teaser trailer.
