The anime of Nier Automata, the television adaptation of the famous video game of the same name, has already started distribution and is met with mixed opinions due to computer graphics that don't quite do justice to the title it represents. However, the series has no shortage of little secrets here and there.

One such small hidden detail in anime is a encrypted message that appears in certain sequences of each episode, or at least it did for the first two episodes. This is an alphanumeric line that a simple online hex converter could decipher. The first of these lines reads: "An android is a being who repeats life and death. The chain of reincarnation brings salvation or it breaks down".

The second, included in the second episode of Nier Automata, instead recites the phrase "How is it different from human intelligence?". We don't know if these are simple Easter eggs or phrases that make sense later, but it seems that the staff wanted to play with the fans in the same way Yoko Taro made with players.

And you, on the other hand, what do you think of these details, did you notice them? As usual, let us know by leaving a comment in the appropriate box below.
