One of the big surprises of last year has arrived Lycoris recoil, an Original Animated Series produced by A-1 Pictures and directed by Shingo Adachi. In the past few hours, a teaser trailer seems to have announced the continuation of the anime.

AnimeAnime users voted Lycoris Recoil as the best anime of 2022, judging the story of the duo Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inou as superior to that of the famous Chainsaw Man or Spy x Family. Seen such a success, it was inevitably the arrival of the announcement of a sequel.

A new, mysterious clip was announced through a short promotional clip released on the series’ official social media Project on Lycoris Recoil. While this is undoubtedly the second season of the anime, there hasn’t been any official announcement about it yet. In fact, the phrase “Season 2” wasn’t mentioned in any way.

The teaser for Lycoris Recoil shows that connection between the two protagonists, as well as some funny, sweet and touching moments. Even after a few action scenes, the film ends with the sentence “The story of the duo never ends”.

The couple will also take care of this new project A-1 Pictures and Shingo Adachi. However, to find out if this is actually Season 2 or an OAV, we’ll have to wait for more details from the production staff.
