The first 5 episodes of the series were released on June 2 in Japan under the title "Case 1". Then "Case 2" was released on June 9 with episodes 6 to 10. Finally, "Case 3" premiered on June 16 with chapters 11 through 14. "Case 4" has no definite release date yet.

Great Pretender Synopsis
Makoto Edamura is said to be the best scam artist in Japan. Together with their partner Kudo, they try to cheat a Frenchman who was in Asakusa, but inexplicably they are the ones who are deceived.
