Twitter user “@γγ³ (@katsuragi3sa)” posted an update on Twitter, noting that the tycoon Elon Musk had shared a Memes from the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise which went viral. But some probably took it too seriously.
“Elon Musk, someone I respect very much, recently posted an edited picture of him Misato Katsuragi for any reason. If this continues, it’s possible that Studio Khara’s work will continue to grow in popularity.β
“Hey Shinji, we need to talk privately,” Misato comments on the meme while holding a positive pregnancy test.
It’s not the first time Elon Musk has posted something related to memes and anime, when he felt he was recommending must-watch anime or when he had a Twitter exchange with a Neon Genesis Evangelion animator, though he was criticized for his immense popularity by “people who take memes seriously” who wrote comments like:
- “I was just about to say that it’s a surprise to see you open about memes an adult having sex with a minor, but then again you were in that photo with Ghislaine Maxwell”
- “Why do you ruin everything you touch?”
- βElon casually jokes about it A 13-year-old boy makes a 28-year-old woman pregnant, what the hell? “
“Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the last human settlement in Japan is the massively fortified city of Tokyo-3. The 14 year old Shinji Ikari He is taken to the headquarters of NERV, an underground organization run by his distant father Gendo. Requests that Shinji be the pilot of a ‘evangelion‘, a colossal android built to fight the monstrous and destructive alien creatures known as ‘Angels’ who are ravaging the planet and threatening the survival of the remaining human race.
“Though initially reluctant, Shinji is persuaded to reconnect with his father and agrees to help humanity in the dangerous quest against the alien threat as the pilot of the Evangelion-01 unit. Thrown into the middle of a dangerous battlefield, Shinji must find the courage and determination to face the angelic incursions before it’s too late.”
