One of the first characters to appear in Naruto was the Jonin Kakashi Hatake. After forming Team 7 with Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha, he was selected as a teacher. The former ANBU and one of Konoha's most important ninjas have been given a tough job of managing characters with a special story.

Kakashi appeared wearing the usual Jonin uniform, consisting of a blue jumpsuit and a green jacket, which was equipped with many pockets in which weapons and scrolls could be stored. But unlike the other ninjas who were in Naruto, he also wore the cover over one eye and a mask that covered the lower part of his face with his nose, mouth and cheeks never being visible.

If we knew that the forehead covering was used to block the Sharingan and therefore not to overuse it and consume chakra, because Kakashi Hatake wears a mask that covers his face? The answer was not given in Masashi Kishimoto's manga or in Studio Pierrot Anime, which, despite the pen, at most revealed Kakashi's true colors.

Instead, the answer comes in a spin-off, Rock Lee - Prowess of a Young Ninja, designed by Kenji Taira and with a strong comic book setting. here Kakashi reveals that he is wearing a mask to hide the constant nosebleeds, a symbol of perversion, and therefore do not lose the trust and respect that students show him. Jiraiya's make-out tactic therefore had a bad effect on the ninja.

We obviously do not know whether this answer should be considered canonicalwhen you consider that by the way, Kakashi has been wearing the mask since childhood and this might just be a fun answer prepared for the moment.
