One of the most controversial characters in the universe of Naruto There is Orochimaru, the main antagonist of the first part of the series, one of the three Sannin of the Leaf along with Jiraiya and Tsunade, as well as a traitor to the village and a former member of the criminal organization Akatsuki.
It is therefore difficult to describe briefly Orochimaru, for this reason it is interesting to try to analyze it, adopting the alignment system used in some of the most famous RPGs in the world, including Dungeons & Dragons. Without much difficulty, a player or a D&D master could define Orochimaru as an evil, neutral-oriented characterbecause it is unpredictable in many situations and above all because it does not act chaotically, but carefully considers every movement.
In fact, neutrality allows you to act both by following the rules and by breaking them, it all depends on what you should do to achieve your goals. That makes neutrals evil deeply selfish peoplewho do not appreciate an overly rigid order of institutions. In certain circumstances, they can go so far as to betray, steal, kill, or manipulate others simply for convenience.
In order to achieve immortality, Orochimaru was legal enough to abide by the RPG’s terms of founding a secret village, the Village of Sound, with numerous followers and believers, but just as chaotic to sacrifice anyone needed to complete the goal to reach. At least thehis world view is based on destruction, which he regards as the only real engine for improvement. What do you think of this analysis of Orochimaru? Tell us in the comments.
