On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Kore Miyazaki, Mahoutsukai no Yome (The Bride of the Ancient Magus), a new promotional image for the second part was unveiled (third episode) from the OVA series, Mahoutsukai no Yome: Nishi no Shounen to Seiran no Kishi (The Ancient Magician’s Bride: The Boy from the West and the Knight of the Blue Storm). The premiere is scheduled for next September 10th in Japan.
The OVA project will feature an original story written by the author himself and will have a total of three releases in the special editions of the sixteenth, seventeenth and eighteenth compiled volumes of the original manga, scheduled for September 10, 2021, March 10, 2022 and September 10, respectively 2022. This specific image is for the “second part” which corresponds to the third episode.
Yamazaki began publishing the manga in the magazine Monthly Comic Blade from the publisher Maggarten in November 2013 and moved to the magazine Monthly Comic Garden in September 2014 where it is yet to be released. The publisher released the sixteenth anthology on September 10, followed by the seventeenth on March 10 in Japan.

Summary of Mahoutsukai no Yome: Nishi no Shounen to Seiran no Kishi
The original three-part story is about Gabriel, an ordinary boy who just moved from London and was bored with his surroundings until one day he saw a purple plume of smoke coming out of his window. At that time he hastily chased after the smoke, looking for every kind of freedom and fun. Though they weren’t supposed to, the boy’s and wizard’s worlds soon intersect… Meanwhile, in the middle of an unusually normal day Elias is helping Chise prepare for the Academy, Spriggan comes across a seemingly creepy horse with a mansion at the mansion gloomy message, “the appearance of the ghost hunter corps is very strange this time”.
