Young Kunon’s magical journey just hit a fresh chapter, and the production team behind Kunon the Sorcerer Can See dropped a second promotional video this Friday. The focus? The School of Magic arc.
The series kicked off January 4th on Tokyo MX and WOWOW. International viewers aren’t left out—Crunchyroll is handling simulcast duties.
Behind the Scenes
Platinum Vision is steering this ship, with Hideaki Oba in the director’s chair. The soundtrack delivers: Isekaijoucho handles the opening track, while Kohta Yamamoto closes things out.

What’s the Story
Kunon was born blind. His answer to that challenge? Use water magic to literally create new eyes. Five months of study and he’s already outpaced his teacher.
He can feel colours, conjure complex shapes, and craft useful objects from nothing.
The court noticed. Now he’s studying under the kingdom’s most powerful wizard.
The light novels started as a web publication in August 2021. By 2022, they’d topped the general rankings. Kadokawa handles the physical releases.
With talent this stacked and source material that’s already proven itself—what would make you give this series a shot?
