On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Tomohito Oda, Komi-san wa, Komyushou Desu (Komi cannot communicate) revealed the opening and closing animated sequences for the second season of the project.
The opening sequence features the theme song “Year 100-iro (青100色)“ interpreted by Miku Ituand the page writes: «The opening video shows Komi-san preparing for the shoot with her partners to the tune of the opening song “Ao 100-iro”, with some connected and chained developments from the opening sequence of the first season… Please take a look».
The final sequence, on the other hand, contains the theme “Koshaberi Biyori (小喋日和)“ interpreted by fantastic youth. The author Tomohito Oda shared a special illustration to celebrate the airing of this second episode, which was previously used as one of the magazine’s covers Weekly Shōnen Sunday.

This second season has been airing on TV and the Netflix platform since April 6 in Japan only. Summary for Komi-san wa, Komyushou desu
It’s Shouko Komi’s first day at the prestigious Itan Private High School and she’s already become the school’s Madonna. With her long black hair and tall, elegant appearance, she draws the attention of everyone who crosses her path. However, there is a problem: despite her popularity, Shouko is bad at communicating with others. Hitohito Tadano is a typical high school boy. With his motto in life, “Recognize the situation and avoid trouble,” he quickly realizes that sitting next to Shouko has made him the enemy of everyone in his class.
One day, an accident causes Hitohito to pass out and he wakes up to Shouko’s meow. He lies and says he didn’t hear anything, causing Shouko to run away. But before she can escape, Hitohito suspects that Shouko can’t easily talk to others; in fact, he was never able to find a single friend. Hitohito decides to help Shouko in her goal of making a hundred friends so she can overcome her communication disorder.
