A renowned Japanese leaker confirmed that the second season of the anime adaptation of the manga was written and illustrated by Cool-Kyou Shinja, Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon, will be released under the production of the studios in 2021 Kyoto animation.
Cool-kyou Shinja publishes manga in a magazine Monthly promotion from the publisher Futabasha since May 2013, and the publisher released the ninth compiled volume in November 2019.
The piece inspired a thirteen-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. Kyoto animation, Headed by Yasuhiro Takemoto and scripts from Yuka Yamada, published January 2017.
