Kentaro Miura’s death in May shocked not only the fans of Berserk, his great work and the one that helped him become known around the world, but also those who have only heard of him. His influence was immensepromoting the creation of other dark fantasy universes in manga, anime, video games, and more.
The drama was indescribable and many still cannot believe this news. Meanwhile, in Japan, the Berserk exhibitions commemorating the Mangaka have started, but there are other activities that are proliferating in conventions around the world. The publisher Dark Horse Comics, which deals with the publication of Berserker in the USA, has with the Japan Foundation a Miura memorial wall which he attached to an Anime NYC Pavilion in New York.
