The Creative Architects Behind the Project
The visual design and aesthetic direction will be led by Ichirou Kutome Design Studio, a collective known for its meticulous attention to detail in character and environment creation. Production will be overseen by Kouichi Noguchi, whose prior work on Seikaisuru kado demonstrates a mastery of pacing and world-building. The animation will be a joint effort between Tsuburaya Productions and Toei Animation, the same studios responsible for the original Kaijuu Decode anime, ensuring continuity in tone and technical execution.
Engaging Fans in the Lead-Up
As part of its promotional strategy, the project will host a special event at the 52nd Sakai Festival on 19 October 2025. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Hiroaki Miura, the voice actor for Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac, and Kouichi Noguchi, who will provide insights into the new series’ development.
The Franchise’s Evolution
Kaijuu Decode originated in 2021 as an anime produced by Arelect. In February 2024, the franchise expanded into virtual reality with the release of Kaijuu Decode: Super Multiverse Mr, available for Quest 3 and Quest Pro headsets. This new installment marks another milestone in the franchise’s growth, blending traditional animation with immersive digital experiences.
