The twelve episode series was produced by Studio deen, Headed by Shinobu Tagashiraand published in January 2018. The platform Funimation owns the distribution rights in the west.

Junji Ito: Collection overview

In the light of day and in the darkness of night, mysterious horrors await in the darkest shadows of every corner. They are inexplicable, inevitable and invincible. Be prepared or you will be their next victim. Feel scared as traumatic horror stories unfold like no other. Stories like a cursed jade carving that drills holes in the bodies of its victims; deep nightmares that lasted for decades; an attractive ghost at a foggy intersection giving damn advice; and a snail that grows in a girl’s mouth. Be careful because horrific supernatural stories are not for the faint of heart.
