The MAPPA studio announcement of a film that is entirely the prequel story of. is dedicated Jujutsu Kaisen aroused high expectations in the community. While the manga pauses due to the health of the author Gege Akutami, interesting details and information about the film and especially about the protagonist keep surfacing.
After the first promotional images were posted on Weekly Shonen Jump and social media, with a first look at the original design by Yuta Okkotsu, they were actually released his origins and how he eventually attended the Tokyo Institute of Occult Arts. Yuta is just a name for fans who only follow the animated implementation, and this is also the reason why the film’s authors decided to introduce it with the short description that you can find below and in the post at the very bottom.
“When he was a child, he has his dear friend Rika. losthe had promised to marry in a car accident. Yuta was pursued by her after it became a curse. She avoided contact with people as Rika can injure her with her enormous strength, but as soon as she met Satoru Gojo, a professor at the Tokyo Institute of Occult Arts, he has promised to break his lover’s curse. “
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will hit Japanese theaters on December 24th, 2021, and we’re bringing you some great fanart from Yuji and others in the style of Studio Ghibli.
