The long-awaited anime adaptation of the manga JoJo’s bizarre adventure: Stone Ocean (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 6: Stone Ocean) finally reached the world catalog of Netflix on December 1st and the platform recently announced the listing results “Global top 10“For the week of November 29th to December 5th of this year.
This listing showed that JoJo’s bizarre adventure: Stone Ocean more than 13.98 million accumulated game hours (If each episode has an average duration of 20 minutes, it means the equivalent of 279.6 million episodes of the anime have been played on the platform), eighth place in the category “Foreign language television programs“. The series celebrated its first twelve episodes worldwide in Netflix on December 1 and will premiere on Japanese television in January 2022. Stone Ocean is the sixth storyline in the main series, written and illustrated by Hirohiko arakiwhich was published in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha between January 2000 and April 2003. The previous sheet entitled Jojo’s bizarre adventure: Golden Wind it was published between November 1995 and April 1999 in the same journal with a total of seventeen anthologies.

- Yoshikawa Iwanami takes over the tone direction while Yuugo Kanno (Ajin, JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 3: Stardust Crusaders, JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 4: Diamond wa Kudakenai, JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 5: Ougon no Kaze) is responsible for composing the soundtrack.
