The saga of the successor to Hunter X Hunter it started some time ago at the same time as another saga, that of the Dark Continent. The two situations are intertwined and complicating things, but Kakin’s empire is vast and as such multiple characters must be considered. In fact, it’s not just Kakin’s principles at stake.

Along with Kakin’s fourteen princes are also her henchmen and various organizations. Among these there are three mafia families of Kakin, the three main ones that are also on the ship and are particularly noticeable in the later chapters of Hunter x Hunter. What are the Hunter x Hunter mafia of the Empire of Kakin?

Let’s start with family Xi Yu. This group is led by Onior Longbao, an elderly man with an onion-shaped head. He has Hinrigh Bigundaffno as his right arm and instead has the third prince Zhang Lei as his protector. Few members have been revealed so far, such as Lynch and Zakuro. You control level 4 and get resources by dealing with human trafficking.

The second family is instead Char-R led by Brocco Li, a man identical to a broccoli. Thanks to the benefactor Luzurus, he has many members, many of whom have been revealed, such as vice head Tajao and right-hand man Ken’i Wang. Many of them have a rose tattooed on their bodies and control level 5 of the ship.

Finally, there is the third family, Heil-Ly. This is the smallest family of the three, with just 23 members, including the leader Morena Prude, a female illegitimate daughter of the Emperor of Kakin and thus alienated from court, but wielding impressive power. Control Plane 3 and its members are the ones who commit the most murders, with the group being targeted by Kakin’s other two mafia groups.

The war between the three factions is a central theme of this Hunter x Hunter saga, which one will last until the end?
