On the official site for the animated adaptation of the light novels Otome game no Hametsu flag Shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei Shiteshimatta ((My next life as a villain: All roads lead to downfall! or Hamefura) the second promotional video for the second season of the project was released. The video shows a fragment of the opening song entitled “Andante ni Koi wo Shite!” and interpreted by Angela.

This second season with the official title Otome game no Hametsu flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta… X. ((Hamefura X.), has planned its premiere in Japan for the summer 2021 season (July-September) and maintains the same production team as in the first season. On the other hand, the first season premiered in Japan in April 2020 and had a total of twelve episodes.

Synopsis of Hamefura

After Duke Claes’ daughter Katarina hit particularly hard on the head one day, she regains all memories of her previous life – that of a teenage Japanese girl. Right before her untimely death, this girl remembers playing a game of otoms … and it’s just like the world she lives in now!

She is now Katarina Claes, the antagonist of the otom game, who harassed the protagonist to the end. He knows all the possible outcomes of the game and realizes that all possible roads end in the murder or exile of Katarina. To avoid these catastrophic endings, he must use his knowledge of the game and his own tricks and begin to break this engagement with the prince.
