On the official page for the anime adaptation of the light novels Otome Game no Hametsu Flag Shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei Shiteshimatta (Hamefura: My next life as a villain: all roads lead to ruin!), the cover and details of the third compilation of the project’s Blu-ray package were revealed.
This package is due to be released in Japan on November 3rd and contains episodes 7 through 9 of this second season at a price of 8,580 yen (about $ 82). The benefits include a CD with original songs, a priority pass for a live event in April 2022, a brochure with an original novel written by himself. Satoru Yamaguchi and a manga by Nami Hidaka, and audio commentary from the screen reader.
This second season, officially titled as Otome Game no Hametsu Flag Shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei Shiteshimatta… X (Hamefura X), is currently on the air and will be confirmed with a total of twelve episodes Crispy roll responsible for sales in the west and maintains the same production team as the first season. On the other hand, the first season premiered in Japan in April 2020 and had a total of twelve episodes.
Production team
- Keisuke Inoue (Midara na Ao-chan wa Benkyou ga Dekinai) returns to take on project management during the course SILVER LINK.
- Megumi Shimizu (Butler: Chitose Momotose Monogatari, King’s Raid: Ishi wo Tsugumono-tachi) takes back responsibility for writing and monitoring the scripts.
- Miwa ooshima (Baka to Shoukanjuu for testing, Chou Henshin Cosprayer, Gugur! Kokkuri-san) takes responsibility for character design again.
Summary of Hamefura
After Duke Claes’ daughter Katarina hit herself particularly hard on the head one day, she found all the memories of her past life – that of a Japanese teenage girl. Right before her untimely death, this girl remembers playing a game of otome … and it’s just like the world she lives in now! She is now Katarina Claes, the antagonist from the Otome game who bullied the protagonist until the very end. Knowing all the possible outcomes of the game, he realizes that all possible roads end in the murder or exile of Katarina. To avoid this disastrous ending, he will need to use his knowledge of the game and his own tricks, starting with breaking off the engagement to the prince.
