On the official page for the director’s original anime Masaomi Andou, Gyakuten Sekai no Denchi Shoujo (The battery girl from Turnabout World) a new promotional video was released for the project. The video confirms that the series premieres on October 11th in Japan and shows a fragment of the closing theme titled “Reverse-Rebirth” and played by Aina suzuki.
The press release confirmed that the project will have a manga adaptation that will be posted on the digital service New comic guy from the publisher Kadokawa coming soon. Details on the employees responsible for this adjustment will be announced at a later date.

- Yusuke Shirato (Kimi fits Boxing, Kochoki, Lost Song) is responsible for the composition of the soundtrack, under the audio direction of Satoki iida.
Summary of Gyakuten Sekai no Denchi Shoujo
The story takes place in 2019, shortly before the change in the historical epochs of Japan. A rift suddenly opened in the sky into another dimension, revealing an alternate world of “ocean change” called “Shinkoku Nippon”. This parallel version of Japan maintained its militarism and remains stagnant in the Showa era. Shinkoku Nippon invaded our Japan with their “Genmu” gas weapons (which our own modern weapons have no control over) and huge humanoid “Garan” weapons.
The invaders immediately seized our government and almost conquered Japan. As a result, our Japan never ushered in the Reiwa era. A decade later, our Japan was renewed as Genkoku Nippon, a puppet state of Shinkoku Nippon. Under strict censorship, manga, anime, idol, and similar subcultures that once flourished have completely disappeared … or so it seemed.
