THE Jolly Roger from ONE PIECE are very famous. The series always features one of the Straw Hat Pirates with his skull wearing the Straw Hat donated by Shanks. There are others in the manga and anime, all very inspired and summing up the characteristics of the crew or their captain.
Eiichiro Oda also showed how to draw them to later have a base to modify. A fan caught the ball and imagined other pirates from other movies or TV series Imagine new Jolly Rogers and what they would look like if these pirates had been in the world of ONE PIECE.
On the subReddit dedicated to Oda’s manga, user Heydude1001 posted an image with six new Jolly Rogers. We start with Abduwali Muse, a pirate who has appeared in, among others, Captain Phillips – Attack in the Open Sea, a real pirate who is currently in prison and has become the protagonist of a very famous meme. On the same line there is Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, followed by Captain K’Nuckles from The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Captain Hook from Peter Pan, the pirate in the image of Spongebob, and finally the Terrible Pirate Rogers from The Princess Bride. Did you recognize them all?
When the end of Onigashima approaches, we’ll see Luffy confronts other crews for the finale and maybe we’ll see new Jolly Roger.
