After years of waiting, speculating, and a multitude of postponements, Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 finally has a release date and apparently it shouldn't slip any further due to the possible state of emergency. The film will debut in Japanese theaters on March 8th and begin at midnight that same day The first 12 minutes will be visible on YouTube.

The preview shown is an extension of the 2019 published and it will take exactly twelve minutes and ten seconds. Khara agreed both for promotional reasons and in honor of the contract with Amazon Prime Video, which will release the first three tetralogy films in Japan on March 5th, 6th and 7th. At midnight (4:00 p.m. on March 7th in Italy) the film will be previewed.

Between yesterday and today some rumors had started about the alleged postponement of Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0, but now the situation seems to have stabilized. The Japanese government has decided to remove the state of emergency from six prefectures and Khara has decided to publish the preview. No postponements should be planned.
