A collaboration celebrated by fans and musicians

“Carmine” marks ELLEGARDEN’s first participation in an anime, a milestone in the group’s career. Formed in 1998 in Chiba Prefecture, the band consists of Takeshi Hosomi (vocals and guitar), Shinichi Ubukata (guitar), Yuichi Takada (bass), and Hiroki Takahashi (drums). Throughout their career, they have released six maxi-singles and six studio albums.

According to their official website, the band members have declared themselves long-time fans of One Piece, making this collaboration even more special for them and the anime’s community of followers.

The official YouTube channel of One Piece has already begun to air a promotional video featuring fragments of “Carmine”, giving fans a first glimpse of the rhythm that will accompany Luffy’s new adventures and those of his crew.
