Many years have passed since the debut of Dragon Ball Z and many of the advertising initiatives sponsored by TOEI Animation and Shueisha have largely been lost today in the maze of the franchise’s enormous history. However, from time to time, thanks to the intervention of fans, some historical images are brought to light.
In fact, more than 30 years have passed since the epic Akira Toriyama resumed on TV thanks to the sequel to Dragon Ball, a sequel that, according to the team’s initial ideas, would be called, among other things, Gohan. In the course of the broadcast was TOEI animation released some official billboards to sponsor the animated series, some of which are now forgotten.
The user Budokai Canal however, he managed to find two old official key visuals from 1992, illustrations that were precisely aimed at increasing the popularity of the Majin Buu saga. The two posters in question, which you can find at the bottom of the news, show in the first table Goku and Vegeta with their respective children in Super Saiyan with the addition of Piccolo to the side. Similar speech for the second visual except for Gohan being pushed aside and by Goku in Super Saiyan 3.
As for you, however, what do you think of these two illustrations, have you seen them before? Let us know with a comment below.
