More than once, within dragon ball, a strange phenomenon happened regarding the transformation into a Super Saiyan, which had some differences from the famous form. This in particular has got around on the internet under the name βPartial Transformation in SSJβ.
In fact, on more than one occasion, we’ve seen a few Saiyans change only partially, with some physical characteristics changing, though not drastically. May it during the Cell sagaor in DBS: Broly or even in the dedicated film Future Tribesthis special shape distinguished our heroes for a few moments.
So essentially the Part form of the Super Saiyan it consists, as the name suggests, in an incomplete manifestation. The hair takes on the typical upward connotation, but the color doesn’t change as well as the eyes. The musculature is more accentuated and a golden aura seems to surround the Saiyan’s body with a usual – but not drastic – increase in strength. In a way, therefore, it is the intermediate step between the Super Saiyan and the normal form. Also curious is an anecdote about the origins of the Super Saiyan, who, according to tradition, was born almost by accident toriyama and by his assistant, who wanted to buy time by no longer having to dye the protagonist’s hair black.
