The end of the previous film from Dragon Ball great saw Goku and Broly apparently bury the battle axe, transporting the legendary Super Saiyan back to the planet he called home during his childhood days. Reached out by Cheelai and Lemo of the Freeza Forces, Broly seems to have transformed himself from a destructive war machine into a much calmer and composed thug.
As we have seen from the promotional material, it looks like this Broly will fight Goku, who most likely train along with him and Vegeta on the planet where Beerus and Whis live. It will be interesting to see if Broly features any new techniques or transformations from the previous film.
The DBS Chronicles Twitter account shared new marketing material from the upcoming film, which gathers most of the cast and features fans waiting for the film Dragon Ball great a new perspective on Broly and Cheelai, whose roles in the film remain a mystery.
As you can see below, the poster features all of the characters in the film but has a few differences. In addition to a diminution of Yajirobe and Karin, who are now introduced but with reduced size, an increase in Dende’s size, and a relocation of Trunks closer to the parents than near Goten as before, there are also differences related to Broly and Cheelai.
In particular, Broly has a less fixed pose Cheelai is completely gone. What will this change be about? Could his role in the film have been cut? Or were all moments she performed with Broly cut out in general?
