Among the various information given during the panel of Dragon Ball Super: superhero which took place at New York Comic-Con 2021, the name of an ancient enemy surfaced that Goku has faced and defeated several times. We are talking about the Army of the Red Band, the largest criminal organization in the world, founded by Toriyama.
For those who don’t remember, Son Goku fights them Red ribbon since his very first adventure. When he was a child, he faced and defeated the dangerous members of the organization, including the insidious killer Taipai.
The fight against the Red Ribbon then went into Dragon Ball Z with that Saga of the androids. Cell, # 17, # 18, and the other androids are actually the result of the perverted mind of Doctor Gelo, an evil scientist from the Red Band who used the organization’s advanced technology to breathe life into these powerful fighters.
In a past revival, Goku has to be in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero face the red ribbon for the hundredth time. At the moment, however, it is not yet clear what this evil organization is hatching. However, the new unreleased protagonists Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 seem to be on their side.
