On the official page for the animated adaptation of the written manga Riichiro inagaki by and illustrated by Boichi, Dr. StoneIt has been announced that the second season will be titled Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, will have a total of eleven episodes distributed in a single Blu-ray / DVD BOX package in Japan on May 26, 2021. It had previously been announced that the series would only last one arc (three months).
This second season has aired in Japan since January 14th, while the platform Crunchyroll sells it in Latin America. Inagaki and Boichi in turn began to publish the manga in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha in March 2017. The work is said to have had more than 8.4 million copies in circulation earlier this year.

- Shinya Iino ((Black fox) is responsible for directing the anime in the studios TMS Entertainment.
- Yuuichirou Kido ((Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na!, Nanatsu no Taizai: Seisen no Shirushi) is responsible for writing and monitoring the scripts.
- Yuuko Iwasa ((Yowamushi Pedal Film) is responsible for the character design.
- Tatsuya katou ((Buddy complex, Comet Lucifer, Fate / Kaleidenliner Prisma ☆ Illya) is responsible for composing the soundtrack under the tone direction of Jin Aketagawa.
- The band Fujifabric plays the opening song titled “Paradise” while HATENA plays the final theme song “Voice?”
Synopsis of Dr. Stone
One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, the Taiju school student wakes up and finds himself in a world full of statues.
