The live action of ONE PIECE it will happen and it is only a matter of time before Netflix officially announces the release date of the television series. What we don’t know, however, are the American giant’s plans regarding the adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s masterpiece with real actors.
While filming for the live action of ONE PIECE is about to begin and the cast of actors will likely be introduced to fans in the next few weeks, some background information about the production is increasing online. Furthermore, according to a new rumor, the plans of the giant dedicated to on-demand streaming for this production appear to be quite ambitious.
According to the source, actually Netflix already has a 7-year contract with Cape Town Film Studios, the set where the live action scenes are filmed. Without getting into exaggerated speculation that the news is to be recorded with the necessary precautions, this could indicate an interest on the part of the American giant in continuing the television series for at least more than one season. However, it is important to reiterate that a 7 year contract does not necessarily imply permanent adjustment, since Netflix takes a number of factors into account before extending its production for another season.
