After the Digi-Chosen saga began in 1999 with the film Kizuna, Toei Animation started a new project early last year by presenting a complete reboot, bringing Tai and the other boys back to their 10-year-old days. This is how Digimon Adventure 2020 came about, an anime that started in April 2020 and is still in the works.
Without interruptions for Covid-19, which blocked almost all broadcasts in the spring season last year, Digimon Adventure 2020 has been on the air tirelessly so far, but now the anime is in its final stages.
