The problematic production of the project Despera seems to be in full swing. Here is the new information that screenwriter Chiaki J. Konaka shared.
The birth of the project dates back to 2009 from Konaka who led the writing, Yoshitoshi ABe who is dedicated to character design, and Ryutaro Nakamurawho should have been the director. Unfortunately, the death of the latter, who in the past led Serial Experiments Lain in collaboration with the other two authors, led to the discontinuation of production, which resumed in 2014 with a new director.
