Kohei Onishi, editor of Weekly Shonen Jump, was interviewed during the television show "Am I Neta, Neta ni Shite Ii desuka?" Interviewed and revealed some new information on two of the weekly Shueisha’s most famous works. ONE PIECE is Demon HunterI also speak of that Status of work on the new project by Koyoharu Gotouge.

Onishi claimed that At the moment, Koyoharu Gotouge has come to a complete standstilland not only has he not started writing his new manga yet, but he also has no idea what kind of work it might be. Last February, the writer announced that she would like to create a romantic comedy with a science fiction setting, but apparently the work is proceeding very slowly, probably also because of the many obligations that result from the success of his great work.

Demon Slayer recently received his second fanbook, which included three one-shot chapters that were discontinued right after the story ended. In 2020, however Gotouge made a spin-off for the Kyojuro Rengoku flame column, Co-star of the blockbuster film Demon Slayer: Mugen Train. The spin-offs are expected to be completed by then, so the author may start working on something new in late 2021.
