As everyone had predicted, the second season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba it has been excellent so far. The long wait for the new episodes was worth it, andArch of the entertainment district delivers some really great episodes. And with the latest episode, fans have been treated to one of the show’s best post-credits scenes.
For those who are current with the anime, you will know that this week’s episode had a lot to say. The bet was to cover that Confrontation between Gyutaro and Daki against the Demon Slayers. Tengen and Tanjiro were set up against the two demons with the support of Zenitsu and Inosuke. So in the end it was only fair another of Tengen’s friends came to show his support in the post-credit scene.
As you can see below, the person in question is none other than rengoku, the former pillar of flame. Demon Slayer fans will no doubt remember the orange-haired hero for his cheerful demeanor and deadly abilities. Unfortunately, the Pillar was killed in battle during the Mugen Train story arc, and Tanjiro still mourns the loss. When Rengoku appeared in front of Tengen in “Ghost Form” in the post-credits scene, everyone went insane.
The touching moment saw Rengoku encourages his friend and asks him to take care of Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu. The Pillar of Flame even scolded Tengen for having three wives, and after his spirit faded, the Pillar of Sound has promised to complete the task. Because of this, Tengen needs to show Tanjiro what it means to be eye to eye with a crescent moon, and that means Gyutaro better watch his back.
