The intensive sequence of events tells in the narrative arc of the second season’s red light district Demon Hunter. After rescuing Hashira Tengen Uzui’s wives in time, Tanjiro engaged in battle against Daki and received unexpected and extraordinary help from an equally powerful demon.
Nezuko has indeed stepped in to protect her brother, showing off her new demonic form for the first time with a regenerative ability that she envies Daki herself, and the vampiric ability that allows her to burn her blood and take the antagonist seriously to hurt. L’Episode 14 entitled Transformation, picking up the narration from their confrontation, in which Nezuko seems to have the upper hand.
Unfortunately, however, Daki manages to move into a building that is still occupied, and Nezuko, drawn to the blood of the people, completely loses control. However, Tanjiro manages to arrive in time to stop his sister, and under the advice of Uzui, who also arrived in time to confront Daki, she sings her a lullaby. Tanjiro’s words awaken memories of the mother within Nezuko, causing her to burst into tears and returning her to her normal form.
Meanwhile, Inosuke and Zenitsu track down their companions through the various explosions caused by the Hashira, who inside still faces Daki and Gyutaro the Protector, the antagonist’s older brother. Tengen had managed to cut off the demon’s head cleanly, to be surprised at his indifference. Daki actually managed to survive as he is deeply attached to Gyutaro and therefore it is not yet clear what needs to be done to finally kill her.
The new demon immediately proves to be an exceptional adversary, with impressive reflexes and a vampiric ability that allows him to manipulate blood, coagulating it into fine blades and hurling it at the Pillar of Sound. The episode concludes with anticipation of the title of the next episode of Tanjiro, or “Collect“.
