Demon slayer 2 makes its way through the story arc of the red light district and places Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu in the middle of the Yoshiwara district. The new mission this time is to find that missing wives of the pillar of sound, Tengen Uzui, but we know there is a dangerous demon lurking in the district.
With the latest installment in the series, we saw how dangerous this new demon was. Predictably, the demon named Daki was hiding among all the courtesans. It was nothing else than Oiran himself and is a member of the Crescent Moons under Muzan Kibutsuji.
He has the dangerous ability of his ligaments to travel long distances across the county, and that power has already been used Zenitsu wraps right up in the post-credit scene of the anime’s latest episode.
Episode 3 of Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc revealed that it was indeed Zenitsu’s house where the demon was stationed. Demon Slayer’s 2×09 cliffhanger indicated that it was Inosuke who stumbled upon the house where Daki was hiding (with Tenen’s wife, Makio, who was seen in Daki’s clutches at the end of the episode), but this was just a demonstration of it what Daki is capable of. But when Zenitsu faces her, fans really realize who she is.
Daki is as brutal as you would expect a demon to be, and after Zenitsu touches her, she knocks him down with a single blow. After the end credits of the episode, Zenitsu lies in bed and recovers from the previous blow Dakis wraps completely cover him. Now the only question left is whether Zenitsu will survive such a test against a demon who has already said it killed several pillars.
