Dear Hina, the sentimental comedy from 2000 based on the manga of the same name Ken Akamatsuis now available to all subscribers to the service on Amazon Prime Video. The series consists of 24 episodes and is visible only with the historical Italian dubbing from Digidub, so no Japanese or subtitles.

The anime, produced by Studio Xebec in 2000, came to Italy in 2005, about three years after its completion. A total of 25 episodes as well as a Christmas special and three OAVs were broadcast, but the twenty-fifth and final episode is the first in a new series that has never been produced, and as a result, streaming sites often don’t include them to avoid confusion.

For those unfamiliar with the work, remember that Love Hina tells the story of Keitaro Urashima, a 19-year-old boy who intends to enter Tokyo’s prestigious Todai University. After failing the entrance test several times, the student must accept part-time employment in the Hinata Pension, a female dormitory room that is home to young renters he will befriend.
